The lovely Rosie O'Dell is the owner operator. Having her kitchen at home renovated to include the latest in equipment to handle the largest of orders, Rosie has started this business from the ground up. The engaging redhead does all the cooking herself, so each item is homemade, made with quality ingredients and has the personal touch so many firms don't offer. No mixes here, folks! Nor spell cast food that never quite has the right taste!
Her right hand man, Dean Santiago, takes care of booking events, handles the bookkeeping and assists with orders from the Marketplace for ingredients, delivery of the delicious delights to the event as well as serving them up! Ladies, he's as delicious a decoration as one could wish for. With this man serving up the calorie laden goodies, your event will not only be the most talked about in RhyDin the next morning, but will also have the other women envious with delight!
This reporter had the opportunity to sit down with both Rosie and Dean and discuss O'Dell's Deli. Rosie credits the business' beginning to an order she
received for seventy of her heavenly homemade cinnamon rolls for a party on Twilight Island. The business sprang from that and has already catered an expansive all day birthday party for the well known Kitty Onyxfire Helston. That event was held in the Hall and drew close to a hundred to the mouthwatering buffet created by the artistic and talented skills of Rosie and Dean. The centerpiece for that event was a wondrously decorated cake that took Rosie several hours with a torch and sugar to complete.
O'Dell's Deli can cater everything from a small, intimate luncheon for two to a large event like the Helston birthday party. Her menu includes buffet items as well as more extravagant dishes. It is suggested that for large events that one reserve their services approximately three weeks in advance to assure that ingredients for all menu items requested available and to provide preparation time. They can also provide a bar and tender for an event at request. Depending on the menu items requested, prices are usually from five silver per person to fifty silver a person for the more exotic delicacies.
When asked to name a few of her most recommended dishes, Rosie promptly named her homemade cinnamon rolls, which she offers a free sample of each morning in the Red Dragon Inn. She also mentioned a peach soup appetizer that will soon be available. When asked what she most wanted our readers to know about her Deli, Rosie stated that "I've got the best crew of people working for me and I've never had a customer complain about anything…"

Starting on August 22nd, the sweet smell of CHOCOLATE began to waft all over RhyDin. This being one of my favorite foods, I followed the heavenly scent to the door of Sinful Pleasures. This new shop was apparently run by Miss Selena Hale - for I could see her hard at work behind the counter, and I recognized her from her visits to the Inn. The fragrance of chocolate intensified as I entered the shop - and I was immediately entranced by the variety available - milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, maple fudge, strawberry fudge, chocolate mint, and chocolate covered fruits of nearly every shape and kind. There was even an entire selection of chocolate liqueurs - chocolates with a hint of rum or brandy, and some I could not identify - all wrapped neatly in little colored foil packages emblazoned with a calligraphic "SP", obviously her trademark. Bottles of chocolate syrup in the same luscious flavors were also
available for sale. A promise to make Miss Hale slushies whenever she visits the Inn soon earned me free samples, which I savored as I exited the shop. Chocolate lovers must come pay Miss Hale a visit at Sinful Pleasures!
