Rory O'Corr and Charna Lyndria announced their engagement on Sunday night in the Red Dragon Inn in front of several friends. Champagne was flowing like water as people lined up to wish them well and give hugs to the blushing bride-to-be that was snuggled up with the soon-to-be groom. The cowboy had proud smile he was wearing as they accepted the well wishes and congratulations and the toast that was made by the bar tender that night our very own Oracle reporter and Red Dragon Inn Bar Tender, Gavilean Starfare.
"To Charna and Rory. May their happiness be spoken of in legends." It was truly a beautiful toast for a wonderful couple that have struggled long and hard to get to where they are today. They have had many trials and rocky slopes on the pathway of their love and we can all hope that this announcement means that they have at long last overcome the worse of them and found a way forward together rather than apart as they were for so very long.
Engagement

The beautiful Ice Queen, Lady Wyheree Ravenlock, and the dashing pirate and captain of the Sea Wolf, Captain James Black, announced their engagement on Sunday night, October 22nd, at the Red Dragon Inn. Wyheree was wearing a beautiful engagement ring of a two ct. pear cut diamond in the center of two smaller diamonds, and Captain Black had a smile that was nearly as brilliant as those diamonds.
According to the happy couple, the soon to be Pirate King asked for Lady Wyheree's hand in marriage the night after she and the crew of the Sea Wolf had saved him from hanging at the hands of the constable of Barrett's Bay. According to James, when he was faced with death his only regret was not marrying Wyheree. Given the second chance at life, he was not going to allow that regret to remain.
The nuptials will take place on Friday night, November 10th, at 10 p.m. EDT.

Halloween Party!

On Saturday. October 28th, the Red Dragon Inn celebrated the coming of All Hallow's Eve with a grand party! I have never seen so many creative and unusual costumes!
Gavilean, my co-host for the party, came dressed as a creature called Yoda. I was dressed as a pirate captain. We were visited by a sylph, a fairy dancer, witches galore, warriors of all shapes and sizes — and I learned Taneth has a twin! Music played throughout the night, and it
inspired many of the guests to dance — even Amaltea, the editor of The Oracle, got into the dancing! She joined Gav and Des on top of the bar in a very odd dance — something they called the "Time Warp". I have never seen anything quite like it — all hips and steps and thrusts — quite shocking! The party lasted until the wee hours — and a good time was had by everyone in attendance!
