With the change of the season comes a change of wardrobe and style! Old clothing and accessories must be thrown out, and replaced with new! Fashions that worked for winter simply won't work for spring anymore! It's really important to make a good impression at the beginning of the season, you can't wait to become fashion conscious.
I did some research and observations of some in RhyDin to compile a basic list of fashion dos and fashion don'ts, because we should all learn from the mistake makers and trend setters!
First and most importantly, girls should never, ever wear long dresses in the
spring! Dresses and skirts should come at least two inches above the knees. Girls should also never wear boots, and a combination of both just makes you look old and frumpy. Never be afraid to show skin and be sexy with form fitting materials or even some fishnet stockings!
Guys should never ever have pink hair. Pink is a girl's color!
Attractive muscled men shouldn't wear shirts in spring or summer, because of the warm weather. Fat men however should always wear shirts, because they're fat.
Headbands and bandannas look ridiculous on girls! They're for boys only!
Vampires should dress like normal people. Cliche cloaks with big collars was out a few hundred years ago!
Hair and eye color are also very important and should be changed with the seasons if necessary. The most beautiful and brilliant eye colors are violet, bright vivid blues, and light green! Eye colors people should stay away from are brown, light blues, and dark greens. Brown and dark green don't 'pop' out at all and are really muddy. Blue eyes that are too blue, or even silvery are more for the winter, not spring.
Beautiful hair colors for anyone would be red, green, and purple. Red and purple always stand out and green works for the spring! Hair colors that should be avoided are brown, blue, and silver. Brown is boring, blue isn't in season, and silver, grey, or platinum makes people look old!

Marc Franco's Rules of Etiquette

As a recent transplant to RhyDin, we are constantly grappling with the ever changing code of morality that is presented to us. We are sure that many of our loyal readers are struggling to learn the same rules of RhyDin etiquette that we are. Thus, as a public service, we shall tackle a monthly article for the famed Oracle to address some of our newest findings over the past month!
Rule: "A proper playboy must surround himself with an ever rotating, always adoring pack of pretty, preening peacocks."
Gideon must be RhyDin's top playboy! Is there any other man that can spot the best talent that the Inn has to offer and surround himself with their charms? Over the past month, he's been seen dazzling the lovely Charlotte, the sexy Cassie, fiery Illy, beautiful Sascha, etc, etc! If his personal talents were not enough, he is even spreading his skills on to others! His friend, the studly Everett, has recently been seen entertaining such gorgeous young women as Viki and Asha!
Rule: "It is okay to call a lady a 'hussy' but never NEVER refer to the new man in her life as her 'flavor of the month'."
PJ Ramirez flew into a hissy (although a hissy does look good on her) after many time baron/opal holder Cas called new boy toy Gage "Ramirez's Flavor of the Month." Bad Boy Gage didn't take too kindly to it either and challenged Cas to a FIGHT the following week in the Outback. Somebody forgot to tell Gage that Cas is actually, you know, really good and the poor boy was taught a lesson. Isn't PJ's honor a little past fighting for???
Rule: "When your brother dumps your friend by calling her a 'bloody psycho' in a public place, it is best to just listen quietly as she pours out her viciously broken heart to you."
Really? Could anybody have had a more difficult month than Kira? Her brothers are certainly a handful. There's no denying that she must be used to it. However, when Dameon broke up with the uber drama queen (but oh-so wonderful) Sera in a very public and VERY messy scene, Kira must have wanted to crawl under a rock and die. The poor girl listened patiently though over the next few weeks while Sera bawled her heart out.
Rule: "If your goal is to field a full soccer team with your offspring, two months is enough time to get over the love of your life."
What can we say about Jewell? We love her. We really do but she's so darn snarkable! Shortly after her dear Skyler was departed, she was moving on to the seXXXy pirate, Stephen. We forgive her, however. If we had over a half dozen children at home, we would need the distraction as well. Make it work, girlfriend!

Wedding Announcement
On February 10, wedding vows were exchanged between Mistress Sha'uri Tymaralis Woodshadow-Arrowny and Triv Adaron. The happy couple had a very simple and private wedding in Corellon's beautiful Sanctuary Temple at her home, the Citadel of Mysteries, on Exodii planet. Their sons, Bryce Arrowny and Alexander Arrowny, were in attendance as witnesses.
Sha'uri is a school teacher at the Ravensheart Academy and Triv is a Citadel Guardian. The happy couple is also expecting another child in another several months.
Engagement
It was a beautiful night on March 7th when Victor Walsh and Shea Greenstone went walking in The Marketplace together or so Victor told me. However on this particular night he said he had a surprise waiting for the lovely Elf originally from GreenStone and The Elven Lands. It seems the High Knight and Elemental Wind Mage was about to learn something.
The two had been "keeping company" for a bit of time but apparently Shea didn't
realize Victor was going to whip out a delightfully beautiful diamond ring and propose to her. Luckily for Victor his Lady said yes! The two haven't set a date yet for the joyous occasion.

When I first came to this realm, I didn't know what to expect. I knew nothing about RhyDin before coming here, so I knew nothing about the people here, or how beautiful they were! One of the first people I met here gave me an idea about that though, as she is possibly the second most beautiful being I have met here! With a little work and change in dress, she could come close to me!
Shylah, or Shy to most, is tall, fiery haired, has a beautiful complexion, probably a wonderful body underneath all her clothes, and has a wonderful personality! She's so fun to talk to! I was lucky enough to get an interview with her for this article, so we're all lucky to get to know her a little more!
Elly: "You know, aside from me you're the only one I know to have perfect hair and a perfect smile~!"
Shy: "Tusen takk, Elly! Although methinks you mayhaps be more perfect than I. Truly, do you think perfection can be obtained by me? My hair looks nice right na because I washed it earlier. It smells godt, too!"
Elly: "It is pretty hard for people to be perfect like me~! But you come closest~! How does it make you feel to be so beautiful~? Do you feel blessed for it~?"
Shy: "Uff da! Truly, I do not think I be that beautiful. There be many in this land who appear much more attractive than myself… such as you, ja! Blessed? Well na, I feel blessed for e'ery moment I be alive and healthy, for it means I can continue to sail the Seas and do battle in other realms. I also feel blessed when I do not receive fatal wounds or fall o'erboard during a tempest while on the waters. The Aesir and Vanir of Asgard look kindly upon me. Sometimes the Fates do, but not always."
Elly: "Of course you're beautiful~! But those other things you feel blessed for sound nice too~! Why don't you dress more feminine~? It would make you stand out even more~!"
Shy: "Hva do you mean by 'more feminine?'"
Elly: "I mean why don't you dress more like a girl~? Dresses and make up and sparkly jewelry~ Things like that~!"
Shy: "I have worn gowns when attending formal balls. Dresses be not the best attire for someone who travels a lot, on land or by water. My clothing be very practical, comfortable and fits my figure
nicely. I feel feminine in my silk blouse, suede breeks, and furry boots. My undergarment be a pretty bikini. 'Twas a gift from a cute pixie kalt Amthy. I have also worn sparkly jewelry with the ball gowns. I do wear some jewelry on a daily basis, but not of the glittery kind. Make-up be for costume parties during Samhain, as far as I be concerned. As my Mor always told me, 'Naturlig er best!' Mayhaps tis godt I do not dress more like a girl or else I would attain perfection, and bekomm the most beautiful female in RhyDin. Which, then, would make you second most beautiful."
Elly: "Me second most beautiful~? I don't think that's possible~! In every realm I've ever been to I've always been the most beautiful~!"
Shy: "Surely, you must receive great adoration and adulation in all of those realms, Elly!"
Elly: "Are you single~? If so I'm sure there's a lot of guys that would love to get to know you better~!"
Shy: "Ja, I be single for the time being. Howe'er, there be one very special mann that I have my eyes upon, and whene'er possible, my lips! Most males do not understand me or my ways, and have trouble accepting things. Methinks a lot of them either fear me or believe I be touched in the head, or simply do not care for a female warrior who can be stubborn, prideful, strong-willed, and has a fiery temper. Although I do not consider those to be such bad attributes as much as traits that can spice up a relationship! I can be Wild. It takes a mann of great honour, courage, patience, and steadfast beliefs, without trying to 'tame' me, to hold my interest. I have been told that I be 'one hot mama!'"
Elly: "Ooo~! Mind sharing the name of this man you have eyes on~? It's not Alain is it~?"
Shy: "Alain? That navn sounds familiar, but I have ne'er met the male. My gaze falls upon the mann kalt Eel-eye-ja Torp."
Beautiful, intelligent, and super fun! Unfortunately for you bachelors she has her eyes elsewhere! But Amthy, if you're reading this, you should give her more clothing like you wear! I'm sure Shy would be an absolute bombshell like us then!
